Thank you for this. I can really relate. Fear has been a constant "companion" for a long time. It has been a roadblock to success.

I was there for a long time with fear, it’s still there but a lot less. Writing and journaling has helped me through a lot of it. Plus therapy, medication, meditation, movement, prayer and all the things we need to do to stay well mentally, emotionally, physically. Thank you Gina for saying that we shall lean into it. Shoving the feeling away can make it worse!

It felt like a light going on in my head when I realized I needed to lean into it. My therapist talks about not fighting powerful emotions. I get it now.

Thank you for sharing dear Gina. Fear has controlled us trauma survivors for decades. I am so thankful for the Lord Jesus and for tools to help us in our healing journey. I ordered "it's not your fault" and look forward to continuing on in my healing journey. Love you, dear Gina. <3
